The role of a manger in a clinical healthcare setting plays a significant role in the delivery of quality health care services to their patients. The management staff in the hospitals develop several strategies and measures that is very crucial in preventing the general public from getting infected with different types of health diseases. They provide various nursing interventions and provide healthcare facilities such as high class equipment facilities, pre operative and post operative care. They also provide patient satisfaction by providing good care to patients and also their family members (Sabatino et al. 2014). The health manager faces several types of problems in making improvement in the management strategies in a hospital. These problems may include a lack of proper knowledge in the nurses in evidence based practice that is nursing. It is impor tant for the higher authorities to empower and support their staff inorder to improve the performance of employees in the workplace in evidence based practice that is nursing (Hernandez, Morgan and Parshall, 2016). Facilitators play an important role in changing the strategies that can be applied in the nursing practice for a better patient experience. If qualified nurses are available then they are required to be recruited. If the nurses are are aware of their roles and responsibilities then it will be easy for them to provide excellent patient experience. The senior professional in the hospitals should keep the nursing staff motivating (Hoeve, Yansen and Roodbol, 2014).The health care staff should also be given proper training about the importance of documentation. They should be made to understand that it plays a very important role in healthcare and it is generated by an electronic method to record the information of the patient. It includes basic information of the patient such as gender and age , medical disease and treatment prescribed . The main aim of electronic systems is that it helps in finalizing a decision and improves treatment. Abundant staffs will be a facilitator in the management changes in clinical practice. The management requires dividing each group of staffs for each role which will help in proper implementation of the changes. Abundant staffs will help in reduction of the workloads for the patients. Availability of resources are the main facilitator in clinical practice to implement any changes (Kelly et al. 2014).The administrator and the staff nurses having proper knowledge of their duty and are well versed with their roles will be helpful for the health manager to implement the changes. The facilitator for the health manager in implementation of change process involves the presence of proper workplace culture. The clinicians, nursing staff and other hospital staff should work in a collaborative manner which play a crucial role in helping the patient to manage the disease and the treatment given to them. One of the barriers for the health manager is to solve the problem of a lack of interest and enthusiasm in the nursing staff.Another barrier in a healthcare setting is the lack of confidence in the staffs to make a decision on their own that is related to providing care to the patients and medication on time (Yang, 2015).The other barriers in providing a better patient experience by the nurses is the lack of appropriate knowledge and skills among them which is required for proper research online and performing computer based literature searches in order to utilize the research process. The perception of nurses can lead to several problems when they feel that their seniors are not guiding and cooperating them about several changes that should be applied in the procedures patient care. Some nurses may have negative attitudes and beliefs which is very harmful for a better performance in the organization. Nurses hospital, should advise various preventive measures to the patients after the treatment or surgery such as increase in physical exercise, a well balanced diet rich in fibers, reduction in the consumption of smoke and alcohol .They should be given a proper hygienic environment. The nursing group should be recruited by following the principles of ethics in order to improve the performance level. Nurses should be trained according to the Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses. The main aim of this code is to act as a guide and mentor the nursing staff about how to improve their performance in a clinical healthcare setting. They should also be trained to provide proper care to the patients by following the principles of ethics such as nurses should respect their patients and be compassionate towards them. They should understand about their requirements and provide proper assistance. They should use proper communication skills while providing health services to avoid any errors (Kangasniemi, Pakkanen and Korhonen, 2015).The most important thing in evidence based practice (nursing) is to get the consent form filled by the patient before proceeding for the treatment. The consent form the main objective, advantages and the risks involved in a particular treatment. The nurses in the hospital should also follow the Code of Ethics as it is developed in order to provide in Australia. The code includes that the nurses in the healthcare organizations should provide quality care of nursing to all the individuals irrespective of caste, creed and religion. They should be empathetic and courteous towards their patients and should follow all the ethical values and principles in providing care to them (Maddern et al. 2016).They should also have excellent decision making skills that will help them to promote the well being of the people. It can be summarized that various strategies should be followed by the healthcare managers and the hospital staff to improve the experience of the patients. There should be clear vision about the change and it can be formed by empowering the employees by providing adequate training knowledge in order to improve their performance in the workplace.Various educational and awareness programs should be organized to keep them focused on the goals and ensure that the objectives are attained in the future. These programs will play a significant role in mproving the performance and the level of knowledge at the workplace and increase the awareness in evidence based practice, that is nursing. The nursing group should be recruited by following the principles of ethics to improve the level of their performance. They should be motivated enough to bring a positive change in the healthcare organization, and create a vision to achieve the main objective.
